143: Food Touching

Panel 1: In the middle of a diagonal frost covered dirt path surrounded by lifeless sunflowers on either side are a pygmy owl named Coffee and a black-capped chickadee named Trail Mix. There are a couple of fallen sunflowers on the ground being covered by snow and ice.
The sky is light blue with white clouds and light snowfall.
In between the two birds are a mixture of bird seed and peanuts.
At the same time, Trail Mix says, “Oh yay the food is touching and mixed!”
while Coffee says, “Oh no, the food is touching and mixed…”

Panel 2: Trail Mix continues, “The mixed flavors give me such a sensory surprise that I love.”

Panel 3: He finishes, “It’s why Trail Mix is my chosen name.”

Panel 4: Coffee responds, “It’s a sensory nope for me. Interesting how food preference is such a spectrum also.”
