110: Late-Diagnosed

Dumpling begins, “How does it feel being so late-diagnosed? Do you feel angry it took so long to figure out who you are?”

Panel 2: Apple Pie happily responds, “My dear, I always knew who I was, even without a name for it. It’s others who took issue with me being my own owl.”

Panel 3: She continues, “I got to spend time with my grandbabies as they helped me seek diagnosis.”

Panel 4: She concludes with a gray heart above her, “Now my experience may help the next generations of owls. I can’t go back to the “what if” past events. But, I can move forward with more knowledge than before.”
Dumpling is happy for her.
